PMBMC
The Punjab Model Bazaars Management Company (PMBMC), hereinafter referred to as “the Company or PMBMC,” incorporated under section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984/Companies Act 2017 as a Non-Profit Organization. The administrative department of the Company is the Price Control & Commodities Management Department (PC&CMD), GoPb. The principal activity of PMBMC is to administrate and manage stalls of Model Bazaars on behalf of the government .
These Model Bazaars welcome lower and middle-class entrepreneurs to run their businesses in a respectable manner where they are offered outlet(s) against nominal monthly rent. Approximately 20,000 stakeholders (including stalls holders and their working labour, suppliers and employees) earn their livelihood from these Bazaars. Customers of the Bazaars and stallholders are further facilitated with free electricity, free parking, CCTV Cameras, Live CCTV monitoring, shopping trolleys, clean drinking water, sanitation, and security services. Owing to its pleasant environment and quality goods and services, on average forty million (40 Million) people visit thirty-six (36) Model Bazaars in Punjab on per annum basis.
